The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Celebrates African American History Month

[Alexandria, VA] On this first day of Black History Month, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), recognizes the contributions, sacrifices, and accomplishments of African American men and women past, present, and future.

As a leader in advancing socially conscious and community-centered policing entities, NOBLE continues to build upon our legacy of promoting positive community and police relations, advocating for criminal justice reform, and championing human and civil rights, as well as creating an ecosystem that addresses long-held negative stereotypes and biases that have sometimes resulted in the mistreatment of people of color.

Black history and Black culture form the tapestry of this nation and we are proud to celebrate and honor the many contributions of Black Americans. “Although we officially recognized these historic accomplishments during the month of February, we can never minimize the hurdles that we continue to face as we work to ensure true freedom and equality for all of God’s children,” stated NOBLE National President Clarence E. Cox, III.
